If you brought it on steam first then it's totally your fault. But GOG Galaxy just found the game already installed, or you could install it through GOG Galaxy itself. I actually sent them an email with proof and they added it to my account because I bought it on ps4 originally. I bought the game on ps4 and now I have it on pc too with all the goodies. Minimal reports over at Reddit have some users losing access to their Nuuvem bought copies.
I was refused by GOG Support to add TW3 GOTY on my GOG account even providing evidence (screenshot with Steam Console output) of purchasing both game and expansion pass at full price. Not sure if there's any gameplay/censorship differences other than drm? Choosing just one mod can be a good idea. If you have Witcher 3 + all the expansions, you'll get Witcher 3. Especially taking into account I was never interested in playing the game itself in the first place.For the sake of reference: TW3 GOTY costs $25 (full price) on GOG for Russia/CIS region. Purchase on GOG means spending fiat money. The mod needs to go into your Witcher 3 folder (where the game is installed).
Also make sure that the mod(s) has/have been updated sooner than the date of the last patch release. And that's while GOG is "a wholly-owned subsidiary of CD Projekt" meaning it's much easier to bring TW3 to GOG Connect.
Current batch of GOG Connect games has >observer_ (released 15 August 2017) in it. Help! CDPR Games Now Available on GeForce NOW. You absolutely should play The Witcher 2 at the very least. Or wait longer if you think they'll eventually link it. Alternatively, go in to The Witcher 3, start a new game, save it, the game will create the directory for you, and then you just move your old files in to the newly created directory and select "Load game" and the appropriate save file when you launch TW3 again.
